WHO WE ARE

Beat The Streets was first founded in 2005 by a group of ex-wrestlers who attributed their off-mat successes to the lessons learned through our sport.

Together, they set out to ensure that all young people would have the same opportunity to learn those lessons, regardless of background or location. The idea was a resounding success, serving thousands of young athletes and spreading to nearly a dozen cities. Newark is the newest city to make this investment in providing high-level wrestling for it's youth.
